【ARONIA】アロニアは、1センチほどの小さな果実。
姿形はブルーベリーに似ているが、
日本ではほとんど知られていない。
そのままでは、苦い・渋い。
ゼリーやコンフィチュールにする際には、固まりづらい。

そんな一筋縄ではいかない果実は、
アントシアニンやビタミンC、
食物繊維を豊富に含むことから
究極の健康果樹と呼ばれている。

『有名ではないけれど、内に秘めた大きな力』

そんな果実に自分を重ね合わせて
アロニアと名づけ、
2005年にオープンし、早7年が経ちました。
お陰様で少しずつ広まってきたタカザワワールドを
より多くの人に食べてもらいたいという想いで
一日二組限定スタイルから、
本来の10席を稼動させるという新しいコンセプトにし
生まれの干支、辰年に、さらなる飛躍を目指して
『誰も知らない小さな実』という看板から、
TAKAZAWA（タカザワ）だけを掲げることに致しました。

日本の良き風土・人・食材・伝統的な世界を再構築してモダンに供する、
‘美味しい＋楽しい’世界を、いよいよ次のステージへ…

ARONIA is the name of the berries, originally from northern America.

Although it looks like Blueberries, it is unknown in Japan.

ARONIA is too bitter and rough to eat as fresh
and is difficult to control for making jam or jelly.

ARONIA is not straight forward berries but,
it is called the Ultimate Healthy Fruit
because of its great nutritional value, such as very high
anthocyanin, Vitamin C and dietary fiber contents.

ARONIA is not well known but has great potential.

We named our restaurant after this true significance of ARONIA.

And opened on 2nd September 2005 with only 2 tables a day.

We thought, after 7 years, though, it was time for some changes.

We decided to change our name to TAKAZAWA from May 2012
and started our new style
which is to operate our maximum capacity of 10 seats.

It is not a big increase, but we would like
to expand TAKAZAWA world more by this new operation.

We feel that it is a welcome new style for our guests
and now making lively scene at a restaurant.

2012 is the year of Dragon，
the zodiac sign that corresponds to Takazawa's birth year.

It is the time to move onto the next stage…
